The Challenge
Sales for a portfolio of national brands were declining -6% year over year.

The Solution
Round 1 aligned on objectives, presented key learnings and a summary of key issues with potential hypotheses to pursue. Analysis was conducted using internal and Nielsen data to identify which brands and product lines were driving the share and profit decline, and which competitive brands were stealing share. In Round 2 further work was done to flesh out each hypotheses and create a learning plan to validate. The final round shared the validation (post research) and aligned on a final recommendation.

Outcome
The portfolio turned around and increased 180%+ in profit and sales stabilized. This was done through brand consolidation, product reformulation, and implementation of a new business model.
